Our goals are accomplished by:
Preserving your LAKE ENVIRONMENT while protecting your RECREATIONAL ENJOYMENT through participation with other organizations in the decision making efforts of lake management issues involving water quality, lake water levels and shoreline management.
Impacting & Influencing your GOVERNMENT through LGA representation at county meetings, invitations to speak to our lake property owners and sponsorship of public forums, such as Candidates for Office Forums; Property Tax Forums; Five-County Meetings.
Informing, Communicating & Educating on LAKE ISSUES through our Bulletins, Email Advisories, Monthly Meetings, Website, Press Releases, Radio Broadcasts, and LGAlert Program which is activated in emergency situations to get important information to subdivisions around Lake Gaston.
Supporting, Promoting & Communicating SAFETY on the water … in your boat … and around your neighborhood.
Building Relationships & Coordinating Efforts with other LAKE ORGANIZATIONS such as the Lake Gaston Water Safety Council, Lake Gaston Weed Control Council, US Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 93, Dominion, US Army Corp of Engineers, Chambers of Commerce, Roanoke River Basin Association, Neighborhood Watch, Striper Club and other lake organizations.
